Louis Penner is a social psychologist, formerly at The University of South Florida and now at Wayne State University as a member of the Center for Communication and Behavioral Oncology at the Karmanos Cancer Institute. He also has an adjunct appointment at The Institute for Social Research at The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Alison Clarke-Stewart is Professor of Psychology at UC, Irvine (Ph.D. Yale). She specializes in developmental psychology and is known for her research on the effects of day care on children.
