Illustrated Congenital Heart Disease: From Prenatal to PostnatalTaiji Clinic is the first clinic to specialize in fetal ultrasound in Taiwan. Congenital heart diseases (CHDs) are the most common structural malformation. If treated properly after birth, most CHD patients have a promising outcome. Nowadays, a prenatal diagnosis warrants individualized perinatal management. As a pioneer in fetal ultrasound screening, the Taiji CHD Work Group was established in 2017. Our mission is to provide precise prenatal diagnosis, counseling, follow-up, and referral for fetal CHDs. Through the collaboration of obstetricians, neonatologists, pediatric cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons and nurses, we accompany families affected by fetal CHDs from prenatal diagnosis all the way through postnatal treatment. A picture is worth a thousand words. In these simplified figures, the structure, pathophysiology, and surgical plans for various CHDs are clearly delineated. This illustrated book will be a useful tool in the prenatal counseling of CHD. The following are the 9 common congenital heart diseases listed in this book: 1. Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) 2. Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) 3. Atrioventricular Septal Defect (AVSD) 4. Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) 5. Coarctation of the Aorta(CoA) 6. Interrupted Aortic Arch (IAA) 7. Pulmonary Stenosis (PS) 8. Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) 9. Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA) Our team produced pictures of the above congenital heart diseases, from the fetal period to postnatal surgical treatment. We hope that clinical medical professionals can communicate more effectively during the prenatal consultation with parents of fetal congenital heart disease. 台兒、台兒診所、台兒醫師、台兒護理師、台兒胎兒、台兒超音波、 |
