Standard wheaten bread not to be fold as priced loaves at the fame time; but magiftrates may fet the price and affize of standard wheaten bread according to the tables to this act; and bakers to be liable to the fame penalties as by the laws in being. Same act, § 4.

If a baker informed against for making standard wheaten bread not of the whole produce of the wheat (except bran) fhall prove that he bought the flour of a miller, and give in his name and place of abode, fuch miller to be liable to the penalties of 31 G. 2. c. 29. Same act, § 6.

Where juftices have fet the price of ftandard wheaten bread, they may omit other forts, and prohibit the felling of other than standard wheaten bread for three months, on giving one month's notice; but the bakers company of London may object to fuch prohibition; and penny and two-penny loaves may be fold as by 31 G. 2. and coarset bread fubject to the fame act; but if fold as price bread, fubject to penalties, and the magiftrates to have the fame power as by any law in being; but not to extend to the custom of London or Weftminster, or the rights of the two universities: and all laws concerning bread to remain in corporations: where there are two bailiffs, one is to fet the affize of bread. Bricks and Tiles.

Acts 1 G. 1. c. 35.-2 G. 2. C. 15. 3 G. 2. c. 22. and fo much of 9 G. 3. co37. as relates to dealers in bricks and tyles for indemnifying them, continued, and the making and fize thereof regulated; but not to extend to more than fifteen miles from London; and perfons aggrieved by convictions for penalties, may appeal to the quarter feffions (on giving recognizance) whofe judgment to be final, and no certiorari. 10 G. 3. c. 49. vol. 28.

Bricks to be 8 inches long, 2 inches thick, 4 inches wide; and pantiles to be 13 inches long, 9 inches wide, and half an inch thick, on penalty of 20s. per 1000 for bricks, and 10s. per 1000 for tyles. 17 G. 3. c. 42. vol. 3L.

This act not to extend more than fifteen miles from London, and mashes of fieves not to be more than a quarter of an inch wide. Same act, § 3.

All contracts for ingroffing bricks and tyles, or reftraining the fale, or fixing the price void, on penalty of 201, on the maker, and rol. on his agent; half to the poor, and the other half to the informer. Same act.
