If his medical skill be estimated by the plain and simple language in which he developes his views, his knowledge must be considered highly respectable. We do not know a subject more worthy the profound attention of the Faculty, and of the public generally, than the inhalation of Iodine in Tubercular Consumption, and some forms of Asthma. Independent of the cases detailed by Sir Arthur Clarke, we have known some remarkable instances of its efficacy. Perhaps the process of Inhalation, as a means of exhibiting remedies in various diseases-for instance, in hydrophobia, is too much neglected, or too little understood by the Profession, and a perusal of this treatise will furnish much useful information, connected with it.
