PURPOSE: To teach the boys between the age of 14 and 18 Self Support and Self Government, by giving them actual experience in Citizenship. Our Motto: "Nothing Without Labor."

LOCATION: Near Chino, San Bernardino County, 5 miles Southeast of Pomona.

EDUCATION: We conduct a High School and Grammar school under the supervision of the County Board of Education.

RELIGION: Non-sectarian. Religious services are held each Sunday with the co-operation of the different religious organizations.

GOVERNMENT: The discipline of the school is maintained by selfgovernment plan, citizens electing their own officers, making and enforcing special laws in addition to the general laws of the State of California.

EQUIPMENT: A 270-acre ranch for the purpose of teaching farming, poultry raising, dairying and truck gardening. A well-equipped print shop; electric shop and garage work; laundry; domestic instruction in the central cooking plant and the various cottages.

RECREATION: Basket ball, base ball, hand ball, volley ball, tramps in the hills, track events, swimming pool and gymnasium work, all under supervision and a part of the school work.

SUPPORT: As many of the parents are unable to pay the full amount necessary to educate a citizen, we meet the deficit by Life memberships $100.00, Annual Memberships $5.00. Subscriptions to the Magazine $1.00 and special donations.
