fary for the due Execution of the faid Office of Sheriff, and to take Bonds, or other Securities of the faid Officers, Minifters and Goalers, by him appointed in the Name of the faid A. B. with Condition to be therein contained, for the true difcharging their feveral Offices, Charges and Places; which Bonds and Securities the faid A. B. his Executors and Adminiftrators, fhall not at any Time difcharge or release, with out the Confent of the faid C. D. his Executors, Adminiftrators or Affigns, unless compelled thereto by the Order or Decree of fome Court of Law, or Equity; But fhall and will, at the Cofts and Charges in the Law of the faid C. D. juftify and avow all fuch Suits and Actions as fhall be lawfully commenced and profecu ted upon any of them, against the faid Parties, their Heirs, Executors or Administrators.

Item, The faid C. D. in Confideration of the Premiffes, doth for himfelf, his Heirs, Executors and Adminiftrators, and every of them, covenant, promife, grant and agree, to and with the faid A. B. his Executors and Adminiftratort, by these Presents, That he the faid C. D. his, &c. fhall and will from Time to Time, and at all Times hereafter, fave harmlefs and keep indemnified the faid A. B. his, &c. and every of them, and his and their and every of their Goods and Chattels, Lands and Fenements, of and from all Actions and Suits, touching or concerning the faid feveral Offices, Charges and Places, before in thefe Prefents mentioned or intended; and all other Things that may or fhall happen for or by reafon of any of the faid Actions or Suits whatfoever.

Item, The faid C. D. doth further, for himfelf, his, &c. covenant promife and agree, to and

D. fhall and will from Time to Time, and at all Times hereafter, Cause, and procure to be well and truly executed, and due Execution to be made of all Manner of Writs, Mandates, Procefs, Warrants, and other Precepts whatsoever, to the faid High Sheriff directed, within the County of, &c. And fhall and will likewife caufe the fame, and every of them, to be truly and justly returned into the feveral Courts and Places from whence they fhall refpectively Iffue, and where they fhall and ought to be returnable; And that the faid C. D. his, &c. fhall and will from Time to Time, and at all Times hereafter, fave harmless and keep indemnified the faid A. B. his, &c. and every of them, and his and their, and every of their Goods and Chattels, Lands and Tenements, of and from all and all Manner of Fines, Iffies, Amerciaments, Actions, Damages and Loffes whatfoever which fhall or may happen, arife, or be fet, impofed, levied, profecuted or commenced at any Time or Times hereafter, upon or against the faid A. B. his, &c. or any of them, or his or their or any of their Goods or Chattels, Lands or Tenements, for not executing, mifexecuting, falfe or untrue Returning of the faid Writs, Proceffes, Warrants and Precepts aforefaid, or any of them, which fhall come to the Hands of the faid C. D. or any o ther of the faid Clerks, Deputies, Minifters and Officers under him, or any other Perfon or Perfons whatsoever fo as aforefaid, to be nomina ted and appointed by the faid C. D.

Item, The faid C. D. doth for himself, his, &c. covenant, promife, grant and agree to and with the faid A. B. his, &c. That he the

faid C. D. fhall and will from Time to Time, and at all Times hereafter, collect and pay, or cause to be collected and paid, unto the feveral and respective Offices and Places where the fame ought to be paid, to the Ufe of the King's Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, all fuch ufual and annual Profits, Viscounteils, and all other Duties and Payments whatsoever, which, du ring the faid A. B's Sheriffalty are or thall be come due or payable; And likewife fhall from Time to Time, and at all Times hereafter, tru ly and justly collect and levy, or do his utmost endeavour to collect and levy, or cause to be levied and collected, all fuch Debts, Sum and Sums of Money, and other Dues what foever, to the Ufe of the King's Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, for which he, or any other Officer or Officers to be appointed by him, as aforefaid, fhall have any Writ or Writs, Process, Warrants or Extents, out of any of the Courts at Westminster, the Courts of Grand Seffions, or Quarter Seffions of the faid County of, &c. or elsewhere legally iffuing; And also fhall and will, from Time to Time, well and truly pay fo much thereof, as he or any of the faid Officers, or Ministers of the faid High Sheriff, as aforefaid to be appointed by the faid C. D. can or fhall receive, unto fuch Place, and at fuch Times, as by the said Writ or Writs, Proceffes, &c. fhall be refpectively limited and appointed; and if any Suit or Fine, Amerciament, and other Damage or Lofs, fhall be fet, charged or impofed upon the faid A. B. for or by reafon of any Neglect, Default or Miscarriage, touching or concerning the Premiffes in this Article mentioned, then and in fuch Cafe, he the faid C. D. his, &c. fhall and will, from Time to Time,

and at all Times hereafter, thereof and therefrom fave harmlefs and keep indemnified the faid A. B. his, &c. and his and their Goods and Chattels, Lands and Tenements, of, from, touching and concerning the fame, and every Part thereof.

Item, The faid C. D. for himself, his, &c. doth alfo covenant, promife, grant and agree, to and with the faid A. B. his, &c. by thefe Prefents, That he the faid C. D. his, &c. fhall and will trom Time to Time, and at all Times, fave harmless and keep indemnified the faid A. B. his, &c. and every of them, and his and their and every of their Goods, Chattels, Lands and Tenements, of and from all and all Manner of Efcapes, Action and Actions, Suit and Suits, Damages and Loffes whatsoever, which fhall or may happen, and which fhall or may at any Time or Times hereafter be commenced or profecuted against the said A. B. his, &c. or any of them, or his or their or any of their Goods or Chattels, Lands or Tenements, for any Matter, Caufe or Thing whatsoever, for, touching or concerning the faid Office of Sheriff, and for and concerning the Efcape and Efcapes of any Prifoner or Prifoners, out of the common Goal of the faid County of, &c. after they fhall be legally committed there, or out of the Cuftody of the faid High Sheriff of the faid County; and all and every other Action and Actions, Suit and Suits, for any Matter, Caufe or Thing what foever, by or through the Means, Neglect, or other Default of the Goaler thereof, or any of his under or other Officers concerning the Goal, or of the faid Under Sheriff, or any Bailiff or other Officer, by the faid C, D. to be appointed as aforefaid.

Item, The faid C. D. for himself, his, &'c. doth covenant, promife, grant and agree to and with the faid A. B. his, &c. That whenever he, the faid C. D. or any Bailiff or Bailiffs, Officer or Officers, or any other Perfon or Perfons whatsoever, nominated or authorized by him, within the faid County of, &c. fhall levy, take and diftrain, or feize any Perfon's Money, Goods, Chattels, Lands or Tenements, upon or by virtue of any Execution, or other Writ or Process whatsoever, to the Ufe of the King's Majesty, his Heirs or Succeffors, or any other Perfon or Perfons whatsoever; That then he the faid C. D. his, &c. fhall and will well and truly pay, and aufwer the fame, according to the Effect of fuch Execution, Writ or Process, as he, or any of his Officers, Minifters, or Perfons aforefaid fhall receive in that Behalf, and shall and will fave harmless and indemnified the faid A. B. his, &c. and every of them, and his and their and every of their Goods and Chattels, Lands and Tenements of and from the fame; And alfo, That he the faid C. D. at his own proper Cofts and Charges, fhall and will from Time to Time, and at all Times hereafter, pay and discharge all Fees, Fines, Charges and Expences whatsoever, in all Courts and Places which are, or fhall be charged on the High Sheriff, ufually paid by the High Sheriff for the Time being, fo as the faid Fine or Fines be charged or impofed upon the faid High Sheriff, by the Default or Miscarriage of the faid C. D. or any other Officer or Officers, or other Perfon or Perfons whatfoever, by him the faid C. D. nominated and appointed as aforefaid.
