The Cricket in Times Square (revised and Updated Edition)

Chester Cricket never intended to leave Connecticut. He'd still be there, in a peaceful meadow, if he hadn't accidentally boarded a train to New York City. Now he's living in the Times Square subway station, palling around with a mouse named Tucker and a cat named Harry. A boy named Mario even makes a cozy home for Chester in his parents' newsstand. At first, Mario hopes to keep Chester as a pet. However, it soon becomes clear that Chester has a gift to share not only with Mario, but with the world.
