LETTER II.

ETTING forth the extenfive Power and Prerogative of the Crown in former Times, compared with the prefent; in which the Reasons are given, why the Jews were antiently confidered as the King's immediate Vaffals, but cannot be fo esteemed at this Day, according to our prefent happy Conftitution Together with the Opinions of the moft eminent Lawyers on this Subject, viz. Lord Chief Juftice Raymond, Lord Chancellor Talbot, Mr. Lutwich, Serjeant Whitaker, Sir Charles Wearg, Mr Reeve, Mr Kettleby, &c. To which are added, Arguments and Reasons drawn from divers Acts of Parliament relating to the fame Subject.

turalizations, by explaining, how the fame Ends may

be obtained in a Way much more efficacious, and
altogether Popular.
