For extending the duty of two pennies Scots, or one-fixth part of a penny Sterling, payable on every pint of ale and beer vended or fold in the village of Port Glasgow and the privileges thereof, over the town of Newark: for supplying the inhabitants of Port Glasgow and Newark with fresh water; for paving, cleaning, lighting, and watching, the streets of the faid two towns; for erecting publick markets therein; for repairing, and keeping in repair, the breast and east and weft quays of the harbour of Port Glasgow, and other purposes therein men

Cap. 61. For vefting in James Watt, engineer, his executors, administrators, and afligns, the fole ufe and property of certain fteam engines, commonly called Fire Engines, of his invention, defcribed in the faid act, throughout his Majefty's dominions, for a limited time.

For draining and preserving certain fen lands, low grounds, and commons, in the feveral parishes of Ramsey, Bury, Wiftow, Warboys, Somerfham, Colne, and Pidley with Fenton, in the county of Huntingdon, and in the parishes of Chatteris and Doddington, within the Ifle of Ely, in the county of Cambridge.

Cap. 66. For draining and preferving certain lands and grounds in the parishes of Wisbech Saint Peter's and Wisbech Saint Mary's, and in the hamlets of Wisbech Murrow and Wifbech Guybirn, in the Isle of Ely, and county of Cambridge.

Cap. 67. For amending and widening the road leading from Yarmouth Bridge through the hamlet of South town, otherwife Little Yarmouth, to Gorleston, in the county of Suffolk.

Cap. 68. For enlarging the term and powers granted in an act, made in the third year of his prefent Majefty's reign, for repairing the road from Newmarket, over Newmarket Heath, to the turnpike road leading to Stump Cross, in the counties of Cambridge and Suffolk; for repairing the road branching out of and leading from the aforefaid road, near the Devil's Ditch, on

Newmarket Heath, to join the prefent turnpike road which leads to Cambridge; and for repairing the highway, through the town of Newmarket to the prefent turnpike road, from thence to Thetford.

Cap. 69. For continuing and enlarging the term and powers of an act, made in the fifth year of the reign of his prefent Majefty, intituled, An att for repairing and widening the road leading from Porthaethwy Ferry to Holyhead, in the county of Anglesey.

Cap. 70. To enlarge the term and powers of feveral acts for repairing the road from Beaconsfield, in the county of Bucks, to Stokenchurch, in the county of Oxford.

Cap. 71. To continue the term of an act, made in the twenty-fixth year of the reign of his late majesty King George the Second, for repairing and widening the feveral roads in the county of Peebles, leading from Tweed's Cross towards the city of Edinburgh, by Blythe Bridge, La Mancha, and Whem, and by Linton and Carlops, and from Inglefton, through Carlops, until all the faid roads join the limits of the county of Edinburgh.

Cap. 72. For continuing and making more effectual feve ral acts of parliament for repairing the roads from Luton, in the county of Bedford, to Weftwood Gate, in the faid county, and from Luton to Saint Alban's in the county of Hertford.

Cap. 73. To enlarge the term of feveral acts, paffed in the fixth year of the reign of Queen Anne, the eleventh year of the reign of King George the Firit, and the tenth, thirteenth, and thir ty-first years of the reign of his late majesty King George the Second, for repairing the highways from Old Stratford, in the county of Northampton, to Dunchurch, in the county of Warwick; and for more effectually amending the faid highways.

9, An act to enable certain trustees, named in the settlement of fir Stafford Northcote baronet, deceased, to raise a competent fum of money, by way of mortgage of part of the hereditaments comprised in fuch fettlement, to be applied in completing the purchase of an undivided moiety, or half part, of the manor of Iddefley, in the county of Devon, to be fettled to the fame ufes, and for the like purposes, as the other undivided moiety of the fame manor ftands limited and charged by the fettlement and will of the faid fir Stafford Northcote.

10. An act for vefting part of the fettled eftates of Philip Wynell Mayow efquire, in Afbbrenton alias Aprington, in Devon, in trustees, to be fold; and fettling other eftates of greater va lue, in lieu thereof.

II. An act for vefting certain eftates and chattels, devifed by the will of Richard Raynsford efquire, deceafed; and part of certain eftates comprifed in a fettlement made on the marriage of Richard Raynsford the younger efquire, in truftees, to fell the fame; and for applying the money to arife by fuch fale in fuch manner as in the faid act mentioned.
