Round two, book two! How could I have possibly forgotten how funny this book is?! Professor Gilderoy Lockhart is the man! I don't think I'll ever love a narcissistic character more than I do this "professor." He asks his students to write a poem about his achievements as homework. I love it! I shouldn't even start on my love for Dobby the house elf or you'll be reading this review for quite some time. I'd give that lovable little creature all of my socks. As I'm studying these and looking for trauma and memory, I'm fascinated at what I'm finding. Memories so strong that they can come alive. Memories that can be obliterated in a moment with a spell. A cast system in the wizarding world made up of an ideology that there are wizards that are "pure" or "mudblood." The system going even darker/deeper by enslaving certain magical creatures. For the life of me, I can't figure out how Rowlings justified sending Harry back to the Dursley's when they had bars on his window and were feeding him through a pet door. Seems a bit harsh. #understatement Next up on my Potter revival-Azkaban!! :)

"Harry-I think I've just understood something! I've got to go to the library!" And she sprinted away, up the stairs. "What does she understand?" said Harry distractedly, still looking around, trying to tell where the voice had come from. "Loads more than I do," said Ron, shaking his head. "But why's she got to go to the library?" "Because that's what Hermione does," said Ron, shrugging. "When in doubt, go to the library." -pg 255

It is our choices, Harry, that shows what we truly are, far more than our abilities." -pg 333
