So this book started off really quickly. You get literally dropped into a strange place. I understood the plot and where they were going but it felt slightly predictable. The ending seemed to be major foreshadowing for the second novel and didn't tie up the lose ends well. I may or may not read The Scorch Trials. What is your opinion?

I actually haven't even finished this yet, but I'm just bored. I know how it ends though, even if a few things are changed in the middle I still get the gist of it. Which is a bummer because I wanted to read book 2 before the movie, oh well.

I hope you like it better than I did. This book almost made me feel like I was too old for YA... strange lol

It's probably going to take me a long time to finish it. It's just meh... & yeah, I get how you feel. Sometimes I read a book & feel the same way. Especially with some of the romance hahah
I enjoyed the second book in the series. They tie up some of the loose ends and it's cool how it's a different setting with some new characters. It was a few years ago that I read the book, though.
