The rating would've been higher if:
1.) The two main characters were likable and not complete Mary Sue/Gary Stu
2.) There was no annoying invented language
3.) The plot wasn't developed by merely withholding information and later solved using deus ex machina.
Bonus!
4.) The phrase "punch in the code" was used so many times that I wanted to rip my hair out or get eaten by a Griever.
However, the idea was interesting, and I definitely want to know what happens later. Curse you, cliffhangers.

"If I were in this book, at least I wouldn't get killed by a Griever.
I'd just die from all the running."
