** spoiler alert ** It was okay, originally I got it from the library and couldn't get into it so I returned it. But, for Christmas my cousin got me the entire boxed set. I gave it another try but still it dragged a bit. The story is slow and took a while to get into.

I don't know if this is spoilers but that ending where it's just like BAM!! When I finished I literally thought James Dashner was a cruel man. The way he played on the fears of many with the whole solar flares thing. Also for the note at the end where the woman reports that they are ready for phase two. I was sitting there shocked for a couple minutes.

But overall it was an okay book with some hilarious parts, some action and a tiny little bit of romance.
