The Maze Runner is an action-packed mystery in which a boy named Thomas wakes up in a metal box, remembering nothing but his name. He learns that everyone that shows up here, doesn't have any memories but their name. Nobody wants to tell him about outside the place he is in, but later, he learns, and it only gets worse from there.
Thomas is in a place called the Glade, it's where all the Gladers live. As weird occurrences begin to happen around him, the Gladers start to suspect Thomas. He does things unbelievable to the people around him, and begins to unravel the mystery of the Maze, the ever-changing maze outside the Glade. When Thomas figures out the details about the maze, things get tense.
The character I most connect with is Thomas. I connect with Thomas because he acts the way I think would act if I were in the Glade. He acts scared, and frightened, but still would want to get out than rather staying inside there their whole life. He starts to help unravel the Maze, and helps others whenever he can.
I would definitely recommend this to you if you like reading any mystery books or action books. This book is definitely a great read if you like these genres, as they are packed with all kinds of mysterious happenings and very many action packed parts in the story. The book leaves you hanging with some questions at the end, but that's motivation to read the next book.
