This book is science fiction. The author is James Dashner. This book is very interesting. It is a series with three other books so if you like The Maze Runner you can read The Scorch Trials, The Death Cure and The Kill Order.
The Maze Runner is about a boy that wakes up in a caged elevator that's going up. The elevator get’s to the top and he is in a place called the glade. The glade is a place with a lot of boy’s and surrounded by big stone walls that look 100 feet tall. There is a big door on the walls that opens up every morning and closes every night. Behind the walls are the maze which is full of deadly creatures that will eat you. I would really recommend the book to somebody that likes apocalyptic situations and action/suspense.
