it was amazing

Author of The 13th Reality ,James Dashner, never fails to surprise and thrill readers with The Maze Runner. This science fiction series had me and many other readers hooked!

The Maze Runner centers around Thomas, a teenage boy who has no memories of his previous life, waking up in the Glade (a forest/field type wilderness). Upon arrival, he meets 50 other boys, all who don't remember their past. Thomas finds out that they are surrounded by a gigantic maze. The doors close every night to protect them from the unimaginable horrors in the maze. When the first ever girl arrives at the Glade, she triggers the end of the boys' world. Chaos ensues,as the teens try to figure out how to escape the maze and learn who put them there.

One thing that I absolutely love about The Maze Runner is the constant adrenaline and how exciting it is. This book had me on the edge of my seat in anticipation and suspense. I would stay up way later at night reading! I also love the rich and deep descriptions. James Dashner's vocabulary heightens the reading experience by describing scenarios so vividly. I can imagine each scene very clearly in my head. If I could change one thing about The Maze Runner, it would probably be the ending. The ending wasn't as exciting and thrilling and just kinda rolled off the hill. Overall, this book was very satisfying and very well written. I would definitely recommend this book.

Fans of The Hunger Games and Divergent would love this book! The Maze Runner is very similar to many popular books today. Readers who love suspenseful and page filling books should try The Maze Runner!
