I must confess I hadn't heard of the trilogy till the movie adaptation of the first book was released. And I didn't want to watch the films till I'd read them all. Good call. The Maze Runner, the first book of a trilogy often compared to The Hunger Games, is geared towards teenagers. Dashner keeps the suspense going in this tale of young boys waking up in a giant maze fraught with killer machines and moving walls that they must bypass to get back to the real world. Spine-chilling. On to the next one.
