it was amazing

** spoiler alert ** "The Maze Runner" is the first book to one of the best series I have ever read. It keeps you interested from the first sentence to the last and makes you want to immediately go and get the second book of the series.
" “I promised him!" he screamed, realizing even as he did so that his voice was laced with something wrong. Almost insanity. "I promised I'd save him, take him home! I promised him!” (Dashner).
The quote above is an example of an answer for the question, what turning points determine our individual pathways to adult hood? The quote is right after chuck gets killed and Thomas is freaking out. At that moment Thomas relizes that wicked is a very evil company and he hates them with every ounce in his body. That moment is also where he hates Gally (his rival from inside the maze) even more due to the fact that he killed chuck. That moment is a big moment but you don't see the full magnitude of it until you read farther into the series; where Thomas always points back at the moment where Chuck dies as the reason of why he hates wicked so much. Plus the thousand of other reasons.
I would very strongly recommend this book to anyone that likes a great series full of action, mystery, and of course a little bit of love. Its an amazing book that is a wonderful lead into fantastic series. Its one of the best books I have ever read and is part of the best series I have ever read.
