it was amazing

A boy named Thomas is found in an elevator. Thomas does not remember anything except his name. When the elevator doors open a group of boys surround him. Thomas is in a place called The Glade. In the Glade is a maze where people go and explore in the day but the maze is dangerous at night. Thomas’ companions are Alby, Newt, Minho, and Chuck.

These characters seem real because they act like real people. Thomas does not understand some of the rules at The Glade. Most people in real life do not understand some rules. Chuck seems real because he acts like a normal and annoying kid. These are some of the characters that seem real.

In my mind Thomas has black hair, black eyes, and he is tall. Alby has black hair, black eyes, and he is shorter than Thomas. Newt has blonde hair, blue eyes, and he has an average height. Chuck has curly hair, blue eyes, and he is very short. That is how these characters look like in my mind.

Thomas is very confused. “Who sent me here?” Thomas demanded. This tells me Thomas does not always aware of his surroundings. That was a quote from the book.

Thomas does not always act very smart. He confuses himself and others. He acts like he doesn’t know anything. These were the actions Thomas made.

I loved this book because there was a lot of action. In the book someone was always being accused of something. This is why I enjoyed this book.

The theme of the book is mystery. The theme is mystery because no one knew anything.
