I was done with the book last night but wanted to watch the movie before writing review.

I wanted to read this long time ago but the copy was not available on Amazon kindle store for so long. It is still not available – It says it is not valid for your country (WHAT? Why?)

So I have to ask my friend living in US to give it to me. People generally request Electronic items when asking for anything from people living in abroad (people from India would be able to understand that), and I’d have done similar too (I’m tech savvy so sue me!) but this time I requested a book. My friend was kind enough to send me the copy as gift from kindle store – and I was the happiest.

Why am I giving you this background? It shows how hard I tried to get a copy of this book! Being a book lover is not an easy job – I tell you!

OK, so now reviews, after going through the entire ordeal, I liked the book not loved it – liked it.



There is lots of repetition of same situation over and over and over again. Tommy has really bored me. Same sentences/questions - written in different format just to make the point.

And no matter what I can’t picture what a Griever looks like, so hello Google again -



After going through so much of the trouble – just to get a copy, my expectation was running pretty high. Though I am not disappointed – I’m not completely blown away.

As I also watched movie, I can say there are lots of things, portrayed differently but end result is same so I was actually pretty happy with movie too.

My fav is Newt – he is real real cute. Good that.



This could have been easily 4 stars review if I wasn't pissed off of the fact that the book is not available in my country – Boo!
