The book I read is called 1CThe Maze Runner 1D. The author's name is James Dashner. The book is fiction. This book is very much about an adventure and a mystery. The fiction is a little bit realistic. The author 19s full name is James Smith Dashner. He has written many other books such as the following books in The Maze Runner series: Scorch trials, Death cure, Kill order. He has also written these other books: The rule of thoughts, The eye of minds, A door in the woods, Immunity in time, The fever cold, The journal of curious letters, The tower of air, A gift of ice, War of the black curtain and The hunt for dark infinity. I have only read the Maze runner and am planning to read the rest of the books from the Maze runner series.
The book is about the main character called Thomas who wakes up in an elevator which comes to a maze where several other boys are. Thomas doesn 19t remember anything and neither have any of the other boys. The boys have been there for 2 years trying to find a way out of the maze but when the first girl and last person to come from the elevator arrives everything changes. Teresa helps Thomas become braver and many of the other characters start to understand that they have to be brave and risk things to get out of the maze. However, there is a boy named Gally who does not like Thomas ideas and blames Thomas for things and tries to persuade others about not risking these things.
This book made me feel sad because I would really have wanted to be in an adventure like that. There were funny parts but also scary parts. Once I had gotten to the middle of the book I couldn 19t stop reading. It got really exciting but it was also really sad. The plot was probably the most interesting part of the book because it changes to something completely different later in the book. The characters felt really real to me. The story made me think about the book Hunger games because these kids were trapped in a dangerous place. I really liked the book because it was mysterious, exciting and it made me wonder all the time about what would happen next. I really recommend this book to people who liked reading the Hunger games and who like adventure and mysteries. I recommend this book for 10 years old and older. I give this book a rating of 9 out of 10.
