it was amazing

Thomas finds himself being lifted up in a dingy elevator, with no memories of anything except his name. When the elevator stops, he is introduced to the Gladers, a group of boys trying to survive in the heart of a giant maze. Although they've been trying to solve the Maze for over 2 years, so far they can't find a way out. The Creators of the Maze send up supplies, and new boys, at regular intervals. But before Thomas can even make sense of this new world he's been thrust into, a girl is sent up the very next day. She brings a note saying she will be the last person sent to them, ever.

Mysteries and suspicions abound, but one thing is certainly clear. Without new people and supplies coming up, the group has no choice but to find a way out of the Maze. Strange creatures lurk within its walls, though, eager to hunt down the Gladers, one by one. This is a suspenseful adventure story from start to finish, and you'll find yourself looking for answers right alongside Thomas. A film version has been made, which is very similar to the book. A sequel film, based on the second book (“The Scorch Trials”) has also been released. I am eager to read that next book in the series!
