I don't understand why people give this book so much crap. I really liked it. I thought the concept was interesting and unique. The writing was creative and fun, while having its own personality and adding to the personality of the quirky and discernible characters. Suspenseful and quirky, while being intriguing and gripping, and a little gross at times, I thought this was a great start to the series.
