The story to this book was amazing. I would rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars or 7 out of 10 stars if i had a choice. The reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 was for the reason that the writing style to this book drove me insane. I understand this book was aimed more for the young teenager crowd but I wished the author had a better description for the situations, the characters, and the setting. He used similes and metaphors that were poorly written and did not subtly drop hints. Reading this review, you might think i should've rated this 2 stars or something. But, The Maze Runner had me on the edge of my seat and once i got past the writing style and got wrapped up in the story, i enjoyed it greatly.
