I read this book since it came out and reading it again brought me some good old memories about myself in the past. Once I starting reading it I couldn't stop reading it. I really like the character Greg, because he is just an innocent kid trying to be famous and to find a way to finish high school by being popular. I got connected with that character now and when I read it for the first time, because in the end; being materialistic or caring about what others thing does not even matter in life. What really matters in life is what you think of yourself and enjoy everything you now have. I really loved this book and the author Jeff Kinney, because there are now having more stories about Greg that I can read. The book was great when I was younger, because I had a great laugh reading it with friends and now remembering all this things again was pretty cool. Greg, was kind of a materialist, but after that he was a caring and a friendly kid.
