Diary of a Wimpy Kid (Diary of a Wimpy Kid, #1)

Greg is a typical middle schooler, trying to find his way in the world. He struggles with being "cool" and making friends in his new environment. This book has parts like the "cheese touch" that are humorous and relatable to middle school students. Since it's written for children and full of drawings, this is a very quick read!!
I deducted one star from this review though because of Greg's attitudes. I was sad about how he treated his friend Rowley and frustrated with some of his thoughts on his teachers. Although, the exact reason that I deduct a star is probably why kids love this book so much!
