Read books one, two and four. I give it two stars because it does have the plus of getting kids who won't read, especially boys, to read. The only problem is the book has nothing to offer. Ater the fourth book I was left wondering if the character was ever going to get older. Greg (the main character) makes Bart Simpson look good.

One problem with the books is that at least for me is that I really didn't like the main character espeically in the way he treated his "best" friend. I was also left wondering what was wrong with the best friend. It seems there might be a problem but, it is never stated. This bring up a whole senstive issue of children who are different.
