really liked it

This has been my favorite re-read of the series thus far as Sirius Black and Remus Lupin are two of my favorite characters of the series. I truly enjoyed reading the scene at the Shrieking Shack as there was so much more detailed than there was in the movie. I was amused at how much involvement that Crookshanks the cat had in the book as pretty much all of that was left out of the movie version and I had forgotten all about it. I hadn't read most of the books around the time I watched the movies so I'm amazed out the extent of the differences between the two even more so now that I'm going through the books again. I wish they could've followed the storyline better, but I know that it would've made for a MUCH longer movie. Oh well, there is always the enjoyment of the books and I prefer that anyway. I do enjoy putting the faces from the movie in my head as I read though... so that's a plus this time around. Highly recommend others re-reading this series or just reading it to start with if you've only seen the movies.
