Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Harry Potter, #3)

You're not allowed to tell a would-be beautifully "grey" tale and then, at the end, turn it into the third-straight fairy tale in a series of ridiculously fairy-tale endings. And you're especially not allowed to do that with time travel and mess up everything you've created in the process.
The book starts off much better then the first two Harry Potters. But the mystery here isn't as fun, and the ending makes it that much worse.
