it was amazing

2. Like Flowers in Spring
Yes, the characters actions are consistent with their strengths and weaknesses. Thomas, the main character has one goal and that is to get home, even though he and the other Gladers do not even know where home is. The Gladers have a set of rules that no one should break or else they get thrown in the jail in the Glade for however the keepers decide to keep them there. These sets of rules are in place to keep everyone in the glade safe and so that there will be order within the glade. The speaking habits are believable, the Gladers have there own lingo. When something goes south they will say a phrase such as "this is worse than a pile of klunk". Also, when they believe something is a good idea they say "good that". The stories ending does flow naturally from what I have learned about the characters. In the beginning of the novel it was obvious to me that there biggest goal was to escape the maze and get back to their homes. To accomplish this some of the Gladers had to risk their lives to fight for the chance of other Gladers getting home. It is apparent to me that the Gladers will do whatever it takes for them to get back home.

5. Like Water in a Desert
The author of this story, James Dashner seems to be very compassionate towards the Gladers and wants them to overcome what they are going through. Dashner would always place some hope in Thomas even when things seemed like they could not get any worse. Thomas always thought to himself that he could never give up, he made promises to people that he would get them home to their families and that is what always kept Thomas motivated. Dashner also created Thomas as a leader who can come up with great plans on the fly, so the other Gladers would look to him at times and almost every single time he would come up with a plan. This novel would be appealing to a group who enjoys books about people that always think they should move forward even if they think all hope is lost. Also this novel would be appealing if you like suspense, and not knowing what could happen next.
