The book "The Maze Runner" by James Dashner was an amazing, intricate and genius book. It starts when Thomas wakes up in a strange new place caller the Glade with no memories except for his name. He's surrounded by many others with the same delima, except their been there for months if not years. Living in a place where only one thing matters, solve the maze. He learns that all these him and the others were all put there by the "creaters". They're given food, water and all the supplies they need to survive, by these mysterious captors. All so that they can find a way out of the glade. everything is normal until unscheduled a new "glader" shows up, and this time it's a girl. Everything orderly goes up in smoke as Thomas tries to lead to other "gladers" to survival as the creators try to keep the maze unsolved. I love this book because is so smart and exciting. The book has so many plot twists and elements that go nothing like expected. James Dashner's intelligence shows through as he writes this intricate distopian story. I recommend this for readers who want a distopian novel like no other, and love sci-fi.
