My most recent book I finished was The Maze Runner by James Dashner. My experience while reading this book was really good. I loved the way the book was written and it had a very good story line to it. This book always had me wanting to read more. "If you ain't scared.. You ain't human" (Dashner 221). This quote represent the story very well. A lot of the guys in the book tried to act brave and like they weren't scared of the maze. Everyone should be scared of this maze. It has killed a lot of their friends and you don't know what to expect when your in the maze.
How does an individual's point of view affect the way he deals with conflict? Thomas, the main character, is put into this maze with about 20 other people he doesn't know and is forced to figure out how to get out of this maze. We know that Thomas is extremely scared of this maze but the people are relying on him to help get out of this maze. So he has to act as if he's not and has to take charge of the situation. His point of view towards the maze helps him build the courage to get through the maze. I would defiantly recommend this book to all ages. It has a great story line and its very entertaining to read.
