** spoiler alert ** This story has so much potential that I keep wanting to like it much more than I actually do...The second book in the series overall felt like the same exact plot as the first. Tally living obliviously in her little world until something big makes her venture out into the wild, alone, where she stumbles upon a rough-living group of people and then accidentally betrays the Smokies. Only difference is she meets the boy before leaving, this time.
And seriously, her journeys into the woods are not that fascinating to have so much time devoted to them.
Although, I must say, I find the love triangle pretty intriguing. The story though is just lacking in a lot of areas and I was constantly annoyed with the terminology.
I was thinking of putting off the third book until I read a few others on my list, but it ended rather interestingly, sucking me back in for the next one.
I truly hope it's a much better plot for this third one, or I'll just be annoyed.
