The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment

I was recommend this book by a friend, together with Search Inside Yourself. Yet, after my enthusiasm from Search Inside Yourself, I came to this one. After a while of reading, I do not see I'm being opened to anything new. It does not make me feel bright and light like experience I read from Buddhist books or reading scientific books). I speed my reading and still see that the author still talks about the now, the problem, but I don't really find the solution. I have never given a book such a low rating like this. I always think that there are things to learn from a book. Yet, I'm disappointed to give this one a two stars since I think it's more or less a waste of time and I really did not feel good when reading it. :(
For me, it would be easier to practice meditation ten minutes per day, to appreciate and feel the presence; to learn that there would not be many things more important than the breath, being and the presence.
