really liked it

Tolle is very important in todays time. If you are able to live in the now and get rid of all the noise from the past and future you have done a big step towards inner peace. It's amazing how popular the book has become but it simply reflects an enormous need in changing times. Tolle is more accesible than eastern writers like Thich Nhat Hanh or the Dalai Lama. Tolle is a similar phenomena like Coelho but whom I find rather boring. What Tolle has to say on the past and the future I can completely agree on. I also love the words of TNH: "Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.” Activists would say, hope is a verb, an action.
