I made the mistake of reading a lot of reviews and I see some negative reviews from people spouting egoic refusals to his teachings because he was inspired by the thousands of other enlightened souls who were trying to do exactly that. What I read was a beautiful guide (which I will read again) to help me quiet my mind, which I did not even realize how loud it had grown throughout my life. I am deeply appreciative of all the lessons, don't feel forced to believe what he teaches simply because you're reading a "self help" book. Just read the book with an open mind, body, and soul, and you may find something beautiful. That's up to you.
