The New Age Zen Christ hath cometh. He bringeth peace and joy. Let’s get him!

This book took me FOREVER to read. The Q & A, aphoristic writing style drives me bazoo. The tome could use a five to ten page intro coalescing the main ideas of the Q & A. Thus, giving the Q & A direction and coherence, but I digress.

Judging the book solely on content and not style, we are left with a worthy read. Tolle asks us to pause and reflect on our mind’s narrative and watch it drive us into suffering. Turns out we are perpetually lost in the past or the future of our minds making which creates psychological suffering. To avoid this suffering we need only access the Now, and stay there, continuously aware of the present moment. The problem is we are habituated to living in our ideas of the past and future so it is difficult to develop the new habit of present third person meta-awareness. But if we persevere in developing the meta-awareness habit, we will reap the fruit of living in THE NOOOOOWWWWW: Peace and Joy.

I recommend the book to anyone, but not as a first read.
