I always keep in mind that there is an audience for every form of art. For this form of art I am not the audience.
To the people who like/love/adore this book, please hear me out, only recommend this book to people who hate their life, people who are suicidal or need some escape like the author, people seeking some form of 'enlightenment' that they are yet to find (maybe they would find it here maybe not), and people who just consume these kinds of books. NEVER EVER recommend it to a person who tells you they don't like self-help or spiritual books. NEVER.
Please I beg of you, DO NOT recommend it to people just because you think they need help with whatever it is you assume they need help with. Instead you should follow the teachings of this guy that you respect so much and accept the NOW of that person ok? Don't judge, don't assume, and don't think. Really stop thinking. I mean STOP! Stare at a tree or something, elevate yourself out of your mind and that thought that you have about that person. Do you see it? If you don't you are not ready, if you do walk a way from that mind and bring yourself to the now and you will find peace in leaving that person alone. PHEW!
A 'friend' recommended this thing to me. Apparently this friend is not aware of the fact that I am not a fan of self help or spiritual books, even though I have told him this several times before. I read the synopsis and knew it would annoy me, but I decided to adopt an open mind and try.
I don't have issues with my life, I am not a worrywart or have issues with my thinking. I don't dabble in the spiritual and I don't feel any need to seek some 'hidden' enlightenment. Reading this book is a total waste of my time, but I am reading on so I can have a sustentative discussion with the person who recommended it.
@51 % in, had to stop, not wasting anymore of my time on this one.

"Just got through a bit that is basically 'don't dwell on the past, don't obsess about the future, enjoy what you have and where you are today" restated with a bunch of words to make it seem like this is some new found concept."
