really liked it
bookshelves: definitely-worth-reading

i loved this book so much i'll probably read it again, I agree with the author on so many things .... like the fact that the word “God” is misused and By misuse, I mean that people who have never even glimpsed the realm of the sacred, the infinite vastness behind that word, use it with great conviction, as if they knew what they are talking about. Or they argue against it, as if they knew what it is that they are denying. This misuse gives rise to absurd beliefs, assertions, and egoic delusions, such as
“My or our God is the only true God, and your God is false,” or Nietzsche’s famous statement “God is dead.”

and Lots of confusing moments like this ...........
“I cannot live with myself any longer.” This was the thought that kept repeating itself in my mind. Then suddenly I became aware of what a peculiar thought it was. “Am I one or two? If I cannot live with myself, there must be two of me: the ‘I’ and the ‘self’ that ‘I’ cannot live with myself, there must be two of me: the ‘I’ and the ‘self’ that ‘I’ cannot live with.” “Maybe,” I thought, “only one of them is real.

Gurjit Singh I is the God while my self is the feeling of duality with God or called soul which comes into existence due to ego or feeling of duality. Soul with no feeling of duality with God becomes God and merges into God. This ego or duality is cause giving feeling of different myself than God.
When such form of self or soul comes into existence, it is called causal body. It is without physicality and very pure free from desires, attachments, hate, intellect, mind etc. Some philosophers have called this stage as metaphysical stage.

MGodoy Wonderful explanation; thank you!
