Initially, all I could say was that the book was confusing. The living I did since reading the book until now, clarified some of the things Eckhart mentioned in the book. It is true that sometimes you have to experience something to understand it. In one of the chapters the author said NOTHING was 100% solid, and that everything looks and feels different because they are in different energy levels. That helped me understand how visualisation and attaining things visualised worked.

He also advocates the concept of NO MIND, and warns us against wondering thoughts. When analysing the root of many problems, uneasiness, unhapiness, depression, etc, 99% of the time I realised that dwelling on the issues augmented them, transformed them into deities they were not, and made them unsurmountable. On the other hand, even if they were big, what on earth can you do to change them? Nothing. It is exactly from that perspective that the author advocates that we must handle what is at hand now. In that way, the load can be managed, and amid all the other things that happened yesterday and which are going to happen tomorrow, you can at least not rob yourself of the peace, the love ,the beauty, the wonder and the truth that lay bear before your eyes for your enjoyment. You were not designed to be a hard drive for life's problems, even imagined ones.

Things are not as our minds make them seem. I loved it when he said GOD was not a thing, but everything, that was divine and occupying everything. He advised that we must find peace, we must find GOD. He said that was maybe what Jesus meant when he said FIND THE TRUTH AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE. Contrary to what other reviewers said about the book, I did not see anything anti-Christ or blasphemous. I found it inspiring and drawing us to GOD.

I am trying to live for now, and I must admit the concept of no mind is difficult, but worth pursuing.
