My concern with this book and other teachings of Tolle is that he attempts to give us this 'path' to follow, or guidelines that will help us achieve inner peace...HOWEVER, he did not follow this path himself. He was depressed and suicidal and suddenly had some existential revelation/found god/had a vision. He did not consciously quiet his mind, meditate, focus on the positive blah, blah, blah. He had a frickin mental breakdown...I have an aversion to listening to people who don't practice what they preach. Hmph.
