The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment

The issue with this book is it attempts to make a 'reasoned' argument for why you should believe in the power of know but immediately asserts that you cannot understand power of now except by doing and, if you don't understand that, your ego is in the way!
There is a lot of good advice in the book, none of it new. You can read Alan Watts, Gnosticism, or even plain Buddhism for most of it. Or I can save you a couple hundred pages and just tell you to pay attention to every feeling, emotion, thought, and then ask what does it matter? Why do I think this?
