The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment

I have to be honest and admit that I did not read this book word for word. Tolle came highly recommended to me, but perhaps this shouldn't have been the first of his books I tried. I got the impression that Tolle thinks very highly of himself and his opinions and beliefs. All who think differently must be wrong.
While the book has its good points, the way he presents the information is pretty bad. It's almost like he's having a conversation with himself. It's confusing and contrived making it painful to try to follow.
The point of the book that I did get out of it is that there technically is no future. The "future" always becomes "now" and "now" is all you have. That there's no use living in the past and worrying about things you can't change. These are good reminders about how to live a fulfilling and happy life.
