it was ok

Tolle takes 165 pages (in this edition) to say, "Remember to stop and smell the roses."

I'll probably take a lot of heat for that. It's not that it's a bad book, even though with some proper editing it could have been made half as long (or less). It's a rethinking of essential Buddhist, Zen, Sufi, and other eastern concepts of quieting the chatter of the thinking mind (which lives in the past and the future) and focusing on the Now. There you go -- you've read the book. Chalk it up on your list and move on. I'd recommend The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom, which is similar yet much more practical.

In my Now, I am going to go focus on dinner.
