made it all the way to page 47 and no further. none of the ideas seemed original to me. a bit of eastern philosophy mixed in with cognitive theory. tolle's writing was not appealing either. in fact, i was really put off by the harsh tone he takes towards his audience. if people are interested in reading about staying in the present i'd recommend a dozen other authors first who are able to convey a similar message in an articulate, meaningful and kind manner.
