While this book wasn't totally pointless, it definitely feels unnecessary. There were very few actual good points in this book that I felt I could build on with other ideas. Overall, everything the author says could have been said much more concisely, there was far too much fluff as opposed to actual information and it's written in such a condescending tone (as others have mentioned, the "You aren't listening to what I'm saying" bits. I mean, honestly?) I felt like most of the information was nothing new either. Like, most of the things he mentions are things I think about on a weekly basis, he just gives some of them different names. Maybe if you know nothing of New Age-ism and similar ideologies, this book is helpful, but it's a huge waste if you're already familiar. I should probably mention, I only read a few paragraphs off each page. There was so much filler that I couldn't be arsed to read every bit.
Everyone has their own path, and mine doesn't appear to have anything to do with Eckhart Tolle's Power of Now!
