The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment

This book is by no means the be all and end all. It is more of an introduction to conciousness. It sheds a certain light on concepts of the conciouness predominaty the ego, self and unconcious and relates them back to thought. This is by no means revolutionary.
The beauty of this books is not in the details, it is in the non-hostile simplicity. It sheds light on the affects of our conciousness in our thoughts, and demonstrates how being mindful (present) can alleviate negative though patterns.
This book best servers as a beginner's introduction to these ideas, and for those that want to explore more will be best served to keep exploring. I can certainly resonate with this book, and allowed me to step back a moment enjoy this moment.
