The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment

What the bloody hell? This man’s messiah complex is scary. His arrogant certitude that in this time, he somehow knows everything - every religion, every level of evolution, everything - is amazing. This combined with the belief that everyone else has got it all wrong is what results in creation of mindless cults.
He spews out gems like:
"When people say something is pretty they are not understanding what they are actually feeling or seeing." "Don't make an effort to understand this. There's nothing to understand?" Who the fuck talks like this? This egotistical crook is convinced everyone is gripped in an egoic mind? Not sure if he's delusional or just a scam artist. His best advice is: if you're unhappy snap out of it. Bet he's never truly suffered in his life. He has enough resources to "snap out of it' and sit on a park bench for two years. Oh to be that privileged! To have the luxury of not worrying about life and be able to do nothing all day. To have the resources to go for it! If you did have the resources, you’d be able to move to a higher plane like this guy, above the human mind and removed from the collective insanity. Sure you’d turn into an arrogant egomaniac but hey once you reach that plane you could write a best seller, make lots of money and all your troubles would go away. Bah!
Save yourself the trouble and go read a mindfulness book instead.
