This book has changed my life. I felt deeply moved by the teachings of Tolle. It came to me at a pivotal period in my life and the central theme resonated to my core : The only thing that exists, the only thing that truly matters, is the present moment. The past and future we spend so much time contemplating are not real, and therefore impossible to change. Our minds are unfortunately always scrambling to figure out what went wrong with the past, or how to properly plan out the future. Forget all that. Yes, learning from mistakes and planning is necessary, but when one goes beyond it becomes a self-destructive process. Live in the present and experience the power and joy of the fully awakened consciousness.

I highly recommend listening to the audiobook version of this book narrated by Tolle himself.
