In the beginning, I was a little unsure about this book. His discussion of "Now" reminded me of a scene in the movie Spaceballs (see link)

But I do think it is important to not get caught up in the past or overly anticipating the future. I myself have spent too much time regretting the past, thinking of ways I should have done things differently or thinking about the future and stressing out about approaching deadlines so I thought that was a very important point. Live in the Now.

Other times I thought the author took very daring liberties, such as his claims on how the bible should really be interpreted and how it has been misinterpreted, how does he know how Jesus would want a story to be interpreted?

Other random things seemed weird such as the beginning of one of his paragraphs after offering directions towards meditation techniques he says "You may open your eyes now." If my eyes are closed how will I receive such directions? If I am reading that command, I have already opened my eyes.

I also didn't care for the style of question/answer. Instead of seeing it as a conversation between two parties, at times it seemed like he was arguing with himself. Very distracting.

Rick Wilson Ha. Picked up this book and I absolutely despised it. Felt like cultish ramblings re-edited for the 2000s
